Murray desn’t have a great FH. He shouldn’t run around too many BH.

Flip the forehand and flip the backhand it’s confusing

  • By 1080portal, July 20, 2012 @ 5:52 am

what makes feds forehand the best ever?

couple of messages up I said if play continued with the rain murray would win i meant if play continued without it raining, I thought Murray would still win. Anyway no doubt Fed will make more semis, maybe a couple of finals, I think though that this might be his final slam victory. but you just never know with this guy. An Obviously I’m hugely biased, but I really think this is the year that Murray stepped it up. He’ll win one of the next two slams, and then a good few more after that. BELIEVE

swung in Federers favour, and he started snapping the ball with pace and precision, becasue clearly the indoor setting seems to match up with his game perfectly. But make no fucking mistake, for two sets Andy Murray had the greatest player of all time onthe roops, always on the back foot, unable to dictate as he likes to do. Great match though. Even though I desperately wanted Murray to win, I’m glad fed got to another wimbers final and equaled Sampras record. Will he win another? it’s possible

Still, evebn at 1-1, Murray was still the better playre, Fed was lucky to get that second set. Given that he looked tired, his shots had no power, Murray was dictating the play, I fully believe that if play continued with the rain Murray would’ve won this match. but ti rained, they put the roof on, and the dynamic changed. Becasue the ball zips through indoors, where Federer is a mster(hasn’t lost in 2 years indoors.) With the rest he got to recooperate, and the change in “venue” the match tbc3

I said murray would play well(this is by far his best slam final showing(not just becasue he won a set, but he also served much better than he has in the past), and in the first two sets Murray was th4e better player, he had the beating of Federer. He should’ve taken the second set, as by the end of that set, Fed was reeling, Murray had him on the ropes. At that point it was Murrays match to lose. He had those chances too to take the second set but he just slipped up at the crucial points. tbc2

ok, well I gave a few predicatins in this video, that I rteckon I got right. Everybody said becasue fed has been there so many times and all thta that he wouldn’t be fazed at all. I said becasue he hasn’t won a slam in 2 and a half years, and this one would equal petes record, that he would be nervous, and I think that was the case. he didn’t come out full to the brim with confidence like in past slams. Lots of people said Murray wouldn’t even win a set, and that fed would demolish him… tbc

with A Great Mental Power ALL THE REST OF EQUATION’S COMPONENTS ARE 99% INSIGNIFIANT … and everybody who plays tennis knows this very well … I play tennis since 2 years and I Lose A Lot Of Matches, IN SPITE OF MY VERY GOOD TECHNIQUE !

Andy Murray is a very emotional guy, with small mental power … but Roger Federer is also talented, but with huuuge mental power … The Perfect Combination For Being One Of The Best Tennis Players Ever !

Andy Murray is such talented, but not cold-blooded !

Rafa doesn’t take drugs. He has never got questioned about it, and he has and never will do it.

    Exactly!
The stadium and all the british people were behind him because he was british.
Just like the crowd at the U.S. Open when an american is playing.

I’ve noticed roger tweaking his backhand little by little over the last couple years and It is really starting to become a major weapon. I will say though he gets into his old chip return and slice backhand ways at the wrong times in other matches though.

Or if he had existed, but hadn’t used steroids. Same thing.

  • By diatribeeverything, July 20, 2012 @ 12:58 pm

you could have distilled all of that into 2 minutes, smh

  • By kingslave021, July 20, 2012 @ 1:38 pm

Doesn’t matter, Fed had just won

  • By doctornov7, July 20, 2012 @ 1:55 pm

If Rafa hadn’t existed, Fed would have 24 Slams. 🙁

  • By MsCherokeeblue, July 20, 2012 @ 2:00 pm

Good match. Pretty good effort from Murray. I also thought after Murray toughed out the first set that we may be watching history unfolding…but unfortunately Murray took his foot off the gas pedal just enough for Fed to dictate play and take over the match. But I think this is the first time Murray has won a set in a slam final and he handled his emotions well. Congrats to Fed on 17…he’d be the undisputed GOAT (greatest of all time) if it weren’t for a pesky fella named Rrrrrrrrrrrafa…

  • By MrMarson123456, July 20, 2012 @ 3:14 pm

  • By ccsuk, July 20, 2012 @ 4:24 pm

Tough for Murray today, coming up against in my opinion the greastest tennis player ever was just outclassed today, however I feel that today proved that he can hang with the top three.

  • By cortadew, July 20, 2012 @ 4:44 pm

    mmm maybe
